MAIN is an international network of autonomous software metrics associations. Currently membership includes associations from the Baltic States, Belgium, Canada, Finland,Germany,Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom

The objectives of MAIN are:

• Exchange of experience between organisations, individuals, and acedemia.
• Support fo the foundation of new national metrics associations
• Develop a common knowledgebase of documents such as

metrics papers, case studies, training materials as standards
research initiatives database
benchmark database

• Interface with other metrics organisations
• Influence in ISO and the EU

The aims of MAIN are to:

• run conferences in cooperation with ESCOM
• initiate and control common projects and working groups
• provide via this website
